How to Name a Cat

How do you name a cat? What do you name a cat? Are human names good for a cat?e-cats

I will help you answer all three questions. First of all I don’t think you should name a cat a human name. Why not? Well, you can, but you may end up offending some one who thinks you are comparing them to a cat. I once met some one, I asked there name then told them my own. They then said, oh that’s neat I have a dog named your name. I wasn’t deeply hurt sense I was only 8 or so. I have decided though, that although it may be okay to name an animal after a human, it wont be my first pick. I have a dog named Diego but I don’t want to name most of my animals after a human. Let’s pick something creative.

I am giving you an assignment. Name one of the cat’s in my picture something creative. There is a simple way to do this look up a name online. NO just kidding. While I have done this before, and you can do the same, do you really want to do this. It will take away some of the fun. Now I will give you a step by step way to name your cat.

  1. Analyze your cat for anything abnormal. This may be a way for you to name you cat something distinguished. Say they have a dot of red on there side, name them something like Target.
  2.  Think about all the interesting names swirling through your head at this crucial moment. you can take several things into consideration. What are there characteristics, what is there color, that sort of thing. If you have a sense of humor name them something like, Fartly. My family seriously named a cat Fartly. We gave the cat away, and his new owner’s named him midnight.😪
  3. Slap a name on them. You can change there name up to three times. If you name them four times they may explode or something like that.

Well just have fun and name away. Name one of the cats in the picture above. Stick you cat names in the comment’s below.
