Poem “Cars”

Cars

I am laughing very hard,

My family is too,

Because baby popped a bubble of spit on her face.

We are driving,

And I wonder?

In the car ahead, are they laughing too?

I am crying, yes crying,

My family is too,

Because we are driving, to a funeral,

And I wonder?

In the car ahead are they crying too?

I am excited, and jumpy,

My sister is too,

Because we are going to a birthday party!

And I wonder?

In the car ahead, are they happy too?

I am driving, yes driving,

My family is scared,

So am I,

Because it is my first time behind the wheel,

And I wonder?

Is the driver ahead scared of me too?

The people ahead are unreal,

Car wrecks are never personal for me.

Who are they?

Are they faceless, expressionless, never ups and downs?

Because I cannot see,

And I wonder?

Does the driver ahead ever wonder about me?

I am an art enthusiast who loves many forms of art such as watercolor, drawing, writing, and much more. Here on my blog, I try to show a snippet of my hobbies and artistic endeavors. My life vision is to turn everything into an artistic version of itself, living a life that allows me to be the person God made me to be, and do my best work. Quote of the month "To see the person you will be in 5 years, examine the books you read, the TV shows you watch, and the friends you keep. They will show you a reflection of your future." - a wise person.
